Pinhole Cameras
0.2 Point of View:
Pinhole Photographs of Asia
by Marion Wheeler and Amber Matthews
No lens. No viewfinder. Infinite focus.
0.2 refers to the 0.2mm (pin) hole in the handmade wooden camera through
which the images of Asia were captured. Concentrating on the five fundamental
elements of Chines acupuncture, Wheeler and Matthews created the 46-page,
paperback with full-page, color pinhole images from Hong Hong, Laos,
Thailand, and Malaysia.
World Wide Pinhole
Day
April 24, 2005
The last Sunday in April, pinhole photographers from around the world
create images and post their best on this web site.
Created in 2001, Worldwide Pinhole Day was designed so people can take
time off from technology and celebrate the world around them.
Learn how you can participate and see the searchable galleries of pinhole
