Friday Night Grind

In the fall of 2002, George DeWolfe sent me a package of slides that he had just received from one of his workshop students, Jackie Brenner. As managing editor of CameraArts magazine I found the images at once compelling, yet at the same time I was apprehensive about the subject matter. But they wouldn't let go of me and I decided to publish them in the February/March 2003 issue (which sold out very quickly).
